Online Art Appraisal and Critique
ONLINE - Our in-house art appraisal and critique will be led by John Holt. All members can submit up to two pieces. Perfect for getting some feedback and ideas in time for our upcoming online exhibition in February.

Collage Workshop
Our very own Scilla Gallop will lead this workshop on site at the college.
Develop your collage skills.

Acrylic Landscape Demonstration by Mark Warner
This meeting will take place at the college.
A very experienced professional artist and tutor, Mark will be demonstrating an acrylic landscape painting for us.

Watercolour Workshop - "Towards Abstraction"
with Helen Newton
This meeting will be at the college.
We loved Helen's gouache workshop last year so we are delighted she will be returning to deliver a workshop on abstract art for us in 2023.

"Capturing Movement" Talk
by Maxine Dodd
This meeting will take place at the college.
Leicestershire mixed media artist, Maxine Dodd will be our guest speaker on the theme of capturing movement in art.

Cold Wax Workshop
This meeting will be at the college.
A chance for us to learn more and have a go with this technique.
July 2023
A sketching day at Roots Farm Barkby Thorpe
This meeting will take place at the farm from
12 noon, 13th July
We have a room booked that we can use and there is an excellent cafe!
Alpacas, goats and even wallabies are located here.
August 2023
Sketching at The Botanic Gardens
This meeting will take place in the gardens.
We have booked one of the classrooms for the afternoon on August 10th
These amazing botanical gardens have so much to offer to any artist

Appraisal by Peter Clayton
This meeting will take place at the college.
The ever popular, Peter Clayton will be our guest to give a critique on members' work

Lesley Brooks Demonstration
This meeting will be at the college.
A big thank you to Lesley Brooks who has kindly stepped in to demonstrate an autumn landscape in acrylics for us. Lesley is part of the Leicester Society of Artists and regularly exhibits work around the county.
