About the event

Crown Hills Art Society is inviting established and budding artists to submit images of lock down inspired art to include in a special online exhibition "Covid Creative 2020".

Anyone who lives in Leicestershire is being asked to submit their creations reflecting on their experiences of life during the coronavirus crisis.

Creative responses could include paintings, drawings, craft or writing.

This exhibition has been inspired by the realisation of how art and creativity is helping those cope during the coronavirus lock down with all of the challenges this has brought including isolation, working from home, home schooling, or losing a loved one as well as conversations between artists and those who would consider themselves "artistically challenged" who have begun to discover their creative side during the present crisis.

If you are interested in submitting artwork please send a high resolution image of your piece to by 5 pm Saturday May 23rd. Please include your name, a short description and where the piece was created. If aged under 16 - age and parent's consent will be needed. The team will then review submissions and will group the entries into categories. All subjects welcome.
